UBC’s Remote Work program provides an opportunity to consider how future work arrangements will continue to make UBC an inspiring place for students to learn and for faculty and staff to research, teach, and work.
Remote work agreements
UBC's remote work program requires a formal agreement between a staff member and their supervisor, even if a previous remote work arrangement was in place. Supervisors and staff need to review the remote work guidelines and have an informed conversation before setting up a remote work agreement. Information on setting up a remote work agreement is available for both leaders and staff.
Facilitated learning opportunities for leaders
In addition to on-demand courses, there are upcoming online facilitated learning courses available for leaders:
- Wednesday, August 18: A Coach-Approach to Learning & Development Conversations
- Tuesday, August 24: Build Your Hybrid Team Charter
