CareNow is a self-guided, confidential digital program provided by our Employee Family Assistance Program, LifeWorks (formerly known as Morneau Shepell) focused on helping you make positive changes.
CareNow has been designed by world-leading experts and is based on the Cognitive Based Therapy (CBT) model. CareNow is on-demand — meaning you can use it when you need it and choose your own path when it comes to care. CareNow has been designed to fit into your schedule as it provides information in short modules that can be completed in minutes.
What does CareNow offer?
CareNow offers interactive content, exercises, assessments, podcasts, videos, meditation, and more to help with a number of challenges, including:

How to access CareNow
You can get started whenever you are ready. Simply access LifeWorks in your browser or app by following our sign-in instructions, then select “Wellbeing” and click on “CareNow.”
What is CBT?
CBT involves techniques that you can practice every day so that healthy thinking comes naturally. It focuses on thought (cognitive) and action (behavioural).1 Some people work with a therapist or a counsellor to learn CBT and others use self-guided digital programs based on CBT such as CareNow.
